I am also currently a Visiting Scholar at the Congressional Budget Office. My research focuses on the economics of health insurance markets, with a particular focus on markets and social health insurance programs for low-income households. I received my bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and my Ph.D. from Boston University. Before coming to UVA, I was the 30th Anniversary Associate Professor of Health Care Policy at Harvard Medical School.
